The European Muslims League (EML) expresses its deep appreciation for the meaningful participation of Vice President Imam Nader Akkad in the conference organized by the Community of Sant’Egidio, held at the Italian Senate of the Republic in the presence of President Sergio Mattarella, under the theme “Daring to Make Peace”.
The event gathered prominent religious, institutional, and civil society representatives from various countries and cultures, emphasizing the importance of interreligious dialogue and international cooperation. Among the distinguished participants was Koko Kondo, a survivor of the Hiroshima atomic bombing, a living witness to the devastation of war and a tireless advocate for peace.
The European Muslims League firmly reiterates that only through sincere dialogue and mutual respect among peoples, religions, and states can peace, justice, and human dignity be upheld.
