The European Muslims League reaffirms its commitment to promoting dialogue, cooperation, and shared responsibility within European societies, strengthening the role of Muslim communities as constructive and integral participants in civic, cultural, and institutional life.
In an international environment characterized by growing tensions, divisions, and misunderstandings, the EML works to advance a culture of dialogue grounded in mutual respect, recognition of human dignity, and responsible coexistence. The organization’s activities are developed through cultural initiatives, interfaith dialogue, educational programs, and institutional engagement, aimed at fostering social cohesion and preventing all forms of discrimination, marginalization, and radicalization.
Within this framework, the initiative “Un Calcio alla Guerra – Kick War Away” stands as a concrete example of how sport can serve as a universal language for peace, dialogue, and social responsibility. The initiative was realized thanks to the cooperation of numerous institutions, local authorities, associations, volunteers, and citizens, demonstrating the value of shared commitment and collective participation.
The European Muslims League expresses its sincere appreciation to all those who contributed to the successful realization of the initiative. The broad participation and positive institutional response have laid the foundation for the project’s continuation, which is already moving toward its third edition, with the objective of consolidating and expanding this path of civic and symbolic engagement in favor of peace.
The activities of the European Muslims League are rooted in a European perspective, while remaining open to the Mediterranean and the broader international context. The organization seeks to highlight the positive contribution of Muslim communities to peaceful coexistence, social stability, and respect for democratic principles, through constructive dialogue with public institutions and international partners.
As noted by the President of the European Muslims League, Alfredo Maiolese, the role of the organization is not to replace public institutions, but to support and facilitate spaces of shared responsibility, enabling communities to contribute in a transparent, constructive, and institutionally respectful manner to the common good.
The European Muslims League will continue to carry out its mission with discretion, institutional seriousness, and a spirit of service, promoting a vision of society based on dialogue, respect for diversity, and responsibility toward present and future generations.
