Open Letter – Gaza, the Cry of Wounded Humanity
As the European Muslims League, a non-governmental organization founded on dialogue and human dignity, we feel a moral duty to break the silence.
We address this message to religious leaders, governments, international institutions, and all people of conscience – pleading with you to hear the cry of Gaza, this afflicted land where children, women, the elderly, and innocent civilians are being killed every day.
This is not a war; it is a massacre.
This is not self-defense; it is an assault on human dignity.
Every bomb dropped on a hospital, every child pulled from the rubble, every mother screaming the name of her child buried alive, is a wound in the heart of all humanity.
Our silence would be complicity.
Our neutrality would be cowardice.
We, European Muslims who believe in peace, justice, and respect, say it clearly and firmly: Stop the massacres. Stop them now.
We call for:
An immediate ceasefire;
Safe humanitarian corridors for the wounded and displaced;
Full respect for international law and human rights conventions;
An independent investigation into what is happening in Gaza;
Recognition of the sanctity of human life everywhere.
