The European Muslims League (EML) formally announces the signing of a Framework Cooperation Agreement with the Ministry of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
This significant development reflects a constructive institutional dialogue aimed at strengthening cultural cooperation, academic exchange, youth engagement initiatives, and the promotion of peace-based values rooted in mutual respect and shared responsibility.
The conclusion of this Agreement was made possible through the dedicated efforts of EML Peace Ambassador, Dr. Mohamed Bahah, whose commitment and professional engagement facilitated the establishment of this formal framework of collaboration. The Board of the European Muslims League extends its sincere appreciation for his contribution.
The Framework Agreement provides a structured basis for cooperation in areas including cultural diplomacy, educational initiatives, prevention of extremism, and the advancement of intercultural understanding between Europe and the Islamic world.
For the European Muslims League, a European non-governmental organization engaged in dialogue and cooperation, the establishment of formal institutional cooperation with a Ministry of a sovereign State represents a meaningful step in its ongoing international engagement. It further consolidates EML’s role as a constructive partner in initiatives that promote stability, dialogue, and peaceful coexistence.
In this context, the President of the European Muslims League, Alfredo Maiolese, stated:
“When commitment is sincere and directed toward the common good, Allah opens the doors of cooperation and makes possible what once seemed distant, transforming intention into concrete action for peace. Every step taken in building dialogue between nations is an act of responsibility toward future generations.”
The European Muslims League remains committed to advancing institutional partnerships that foster dialogue, strengthen international cooperation, and contribute to sustainable peace.
