The world is facing a growing crisis that extends beyond politics, economics and international tensions. One of the most serious challenges today is the gradual loss of trust between peoples, communities and societies.
In many parts of the world, division, hostility and social polarization continue to increase. Religious, cultural and ethnic differences are too often exploited to create confrontation instead of encouraging mutual understanding and coexistence. At the same time, digital platforms and social networks, despite their global potential, are frequently used to spread misinformation, hatred and intolerance.
In this context, dialogue, mutual respect and shared responsibility become essential elements for preserving social stability and peaceful coexistence. Peace cannot rely only on political agreements or economic interests. It also depends on human relations based on dignity, justice and respect for others.
Religions, when guided by wisdom, balance and responsibility, can contribute to peace and social harmony rather than division. Interreligious and intercultural dialogue therefore represents an important instrument for countering extremism, discrimination and hatred.
