In a world marked by wars and growing tensions, peace cannot simply be understood as the absence of conflict. It must become a value that is taught, lived and passed on to younger generations through education, dialogue and cooperation among peoples, cultures and religions.
This is the vision behind the third edition of “Kick War Away”, promoted by the European Muslims League (EML), which on 9–10 October 2026 will bring together institutions, schools, associations, religious communities and citizens in an international initiative dedicated to promoting a culture of peace.
The European Muslims League believes that every child who learns the value of dialogue instead of hatred becomes a builder of peace. Conflict prevention begins long before diplomacy: it starts in schools, families, communities and on sports fields. This is the vision that inspires the third edition of “Kick War Away,” transforming sport and human encounter into practical instruments for preventing conflict and strengthening mutual respect.
In this effort, the role of diplomats, Permanent Missions and international organizations—starting with the United Nations—is essential. Diplomacy is not only about resolving crises once they emerge; it is also about encouraging and supporting initiatives that promote dialogue, mutual understanding and cooperation among peoples. Every opportunity that brings together young people from different cultures and faiths represents a concrete investment in international peace and stability.
The European Muslims League renews its commitment to working alongside institutions, religious communities, international organizations and civil society to ensure that the culture of peace becomes a shared responsibility. The future cannot simply be awaited; it must be built together, one generation at a time.
