In an era marked by conflicts, divisions, and fears often fueled by misinformation, interfaith dialogue is not just a symbolic gesture — it is a concrete necessity to build more peaceful and just societies. When lived in their authentic essence, religions do not divide. On the contrary, they unite, promoting universal values such as human dignity, mutual respect, solidarity, and love for one another.
Today’s world is shaken by global tensions that often find fertile ground in religious and cultural differences, manipulated by political or ideological interests. In this context, the European Muslims League reaffirms its commitment to building bridges between faith communities and combating all forms of hatred, discrimination, and sectarianism.
Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and other major religions teach respect and peace. Diversity should not be feared but embraced as a source of richness. When representatives of different faiths sit at the same table, listen to one another, and shake hands, they show that coexistence is not a dream — it is a real and achievable goal.
The EML firmly believes that Europe can be a positive example of coexistence, thanks to its multicultural heritage and its long tradition of dialogue. Promoting interfaith encounters means contributing to the construction of a society based on trust, justice, and mutual recognition.
“O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honorable of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you.”
(Qur’an, Surah 49:13)
Building a united humanity is not an abstract dream — it is a shared responsibility that begins with sincere dialogue and concrete commitment to the common good. The European Muslims League will continue to promote this path, convinced that peace is built together, step by step, hand in hand.
