On the occasion of World Population Day, observed by the United Nations on 11 July, the international community is invited to reflect on demographic changes and their impact on sustainable development, social cohesion and the well-being of future generations.
Global population trends represent a shared challenge that requires policies focused on education, human dignity, social inclusion and cooperation among institutions, local authorities and civil society. Investing in people means strengthening the resilience of communities and fostering the conditions for peace, stability and sustainable development.
In this context, the European Muslims League (EML) reaffirms its commitment to promoting intercultural and interfaith dialogue, cooperation with local authorities, and initiatives that support families, young people and responsible participation in society.
