THE PRESIDENT

Dr. Alfredo Maiolese is the President of the European Muslims League (EML).
Married with three children, he holds a Degree in Economics and Commerce and a PhD in International Relations. A certified tax expert, he is enrolled with LAPET – National Association of Tax Consultants.

For many years he has been engaged in the defence of human rights, intercultural dialogue and peaceful coexistence. He completed a Special Course on Conflict Studies run by the United Nations College.

Dr. Maiolese also serves as Ambassador at Large of the World Organization of the States – International Parliament for Safety and Peace (WOS-IPSP), and he formerly served as Envoy to Italy of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of the State of Kuwait.

He has collaborated as an Expert of the Council of Europe, Strasbourg, on religious affairs.

At the civic level, he served as Councillor for Religious Affairs of the Municipality of Genoa (Italy), member of the Board of C.I.S.A. – International Council for Solidarity and Hospitality, and as a Mediator for Social Conflicts (ADR Mediaform) accredited by the Italian Ministry of Justice.

He is a Minister of Worship, active within the penitentiary system, having completed the official course organized by Primed and the University of Padua in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Education.

Dr. Maiolese is certified as ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Auditor and Auditor UNI EN ISO 19011:2018 – ISO 17021-1:2015 (RINA), accredited by AICQ SICEV.
